Learn more about life as an Uber Graduate

We believe that by solving some of the biggest problems of our time, we can create a future where there is limitless freedom of movement for people and things all across the world. It’s a bright future that we can create together. Uber is the perfect place to start and grow your career.

Building from the Ground Up

As a grad, there will be a variety of opportunities to take your ideas to the next level. Our 2016 grads had the opportunity to launch Uber in Byron Bay. Where will the next possibility take you?

Be part of a team that turns ideas into actions, and dive into projects that impact the way cities move forward.

Diversity at Uber

At Uber, we have built a culture that thrives on diversity. We continue to celebrate and support people from a multitude of backgrounds and experiences, and recognise the value this brings to our employees, our products and our community.

What’s it like inside?

“I didn't really want a conventional engineering job and Uber seemed like a really unique experience. Highlights have definitely been travelling to San Fran and Melbourne, working at the NRL grand final, and of course, working on high-impact projects with super talented people. I've learned more in 6 months than in my entire degree and am still learning new skills every day.”

Rachel McDonnell, Bachelor of Civil Engineering, University of Queensland class of 2017

“I joined Uber because I wanted to work on big challenges with great people. In my first three months, it exceeded my expectations. I launched a referral program in Wellington, analysed restaurant on-boarding in Melbourne, pitched marketing strategies in Sydney, and also visited Uber's HQ in San Francisco. I love that I have an opportunity to make a tangible impact as a Graduate and there are endless opportunities to turn your ideas into reality.”

Jaewoo Jin, Bachelor of Commerce and Economics, University of New South Wales class of 2017

“I think compared to other companies and programs, the Uber Graduate Program gives you the opportunity to solve problems that no one has tackled before. Rather than following a set of rules around how things have always been done, you're the one determining the solution. In my first month we launched into Geelong and Wollongong. Activating and launching into a new city is definitely something you wouldn't get to do in any other job.”

Ben Rees, Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and Commerce, University of New South Wales class of 2017

“I love the culture of Uber - the people are super smart, driven and have interesting stories. More than simply an entry-level position at Uber, the program provides you with visibility across so many areas of the business. You get to meet employees from all the teams, see what they do and try it yourself - it's a one of a kind opportunity.”

Gabrielle Tremblay, Bachelor of Arts (Physics and Chinese), University of Sydney class of 2017.
