Seven steps to becoming an Uber Grad

Meet some of our Grads

“I joined the Uber Grad program as a way to explore different avenues outside of the traditional paths of my degree. My favourite aspect of the program and Uber, in general, is the real-time problems you are presented with and the opportunity this gives you to solve them and make your mark. Since joining Uber I've worked across a huge variety of areas, from new product launches through to large-scale events such as our Melbourne Cup Carnival activation. I'm always excited to find out what's coming next”.

Sarah Bramham, Bachelor of Law and International Relations, Bond University class of 2018

“I joined Uber because I wanted to work on big challenges with great people. In my first three months, it exceeded my expectations. I launched a referral program in Wellington, analysed restaurant on-boarding in Melbourne, pitched marketing strategies in Sydney, and also visited Uber's HQ in San Francisco. I love that I have an opportunity to make a tangible impact as a Graduate and there are endless opportunities to turn your ideas into reality.”

Jaewoo Jin, Bachelor of Commerce and Economics, University of New South Wales class of 2017

“I love the culture of Uber - the people are super smart, driven and have interesting stories. More than simply an entry-level position at Uber, the program provides you with visibility across so many areas of the business. You get to meet employees from all the teams, see what they do and try it yourself - it's a one of a kind opportunity.”

Gabrielle Tremblay, Bachelor of Arts (Physics and Chinese), University of Sydney class of 2017.

“Uber interested me because I wanted a job where I could visibly see the impact of my work. During the Grad Program, I determined the best modality of support for eaters depending on their issues, went to the Gold Coast to ensure Eats ran smoothly during the Commonwealth Games, developed CRM driver retention strategies and worked on optimising our pricing algorithms for New Zealand Rides. Uber is a sandbox to learn new skills and apply them to challenging, large scale problems alongside incredible people.”

Sumukh Rudrapatna, Bachelor of Mechanical and Petroleum Engineering, University of Adelaide class of 2018
